Associated British Ports (ABP) is pleased to announce that the Ipswich Borough Council Planning & Development Committee has unanimously approved our application for the redevelopment of the Ipswich Wet Dock. This approval marks a significant milestone for the town’s Waterfront, enabling ABP’s £2 million investment in upgrading and enhancing the marina facilities at Ipswich Beacon Marina.
The redevelopment project underscores ABP’s commitment to preserving Ipswich’s maritime heritage while fostering a modern, thriving Waterfront that benefits residents, visitors, and the local economy. Key features of the redevelopment include:
Fully serviced berths
Modern welfare facilities
Improved connectivity
